As an IFS Level 1 and EMDR-trained therapist, a yoga teacher and a former first responder, my diverse background allows me to connect authentically, without judgement regarding how clients are affected by the things that are witnessed and experienced personally. I receive clinical supervision and engage in training specific to trauma treatment. I attended the IFS (Internal Family Systems) Institute and completed the Level One training, which very much much informs the way I view an individual’s internal world and the capacity for healing the parts of ourselves that carry burdens, wounds, or seem destructive in some way.
Integrative psychotherapy means there is not a cookie cutter approach to working with clients. Instead, it is the unique story of each individual that guides how we work together and pull from a variety of evidence-based therapies. As not all approaches work for every client.
I generally work with adults across the entire lifespan and treatment approaches may include:
-
- Attachment-based
- Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
- EMDR
- Existential
- Family Systems
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Interpersonal
- Mindfulness-Based
- Psychodynamic
- Relational
- Somatic
- Strength-Based
- Trauma Focused
